LeadHere is a fellowship program that actively engages emerging leaders in community life. Gathered from cities across the world, from a variety of educational and experience backgrounds, LeadHere Fellows are a key engine for driving CreateHere’s initiatives forward.

On our team, you’ll find social entrepreneurs, writers, small business gurus, designers, videographers, artists, critics, philosophers, outreach coordinators, big thinkers, and as many realists as idealists.

Through the program, Fellows serve in a creative, ambitious and fast-paced working environment including end-to-end project management experience that will propel them into the creative workforce. They also participate in leadership-training opportunities to more deeply connect with the community and civic responsibility. Chattanooga’s best and brightest combine their talent, ideas and energy to make a long-term impact on society starting now.

Where do former Fellows find themselves today? Among the organizations that have recruited from our talent pool you’ll find NPR; the RiverCity Company; the Benwood Foundation; and the Harrison Center for the Arts in Indianapolis, Indiana. Additionally, members from our team have gone on to pursue higher education, positions on local non-profit boards, small-business ownership, and independent work in their respective creative fields, fueled in part by the connectivity LeadHere promotes.

Want to learn more about the Fellowship? Applicants must be passionate about enabling and equipping others and helping big vision become reality. Hard working and highly motivated, hopeful and helpful. LeadHere interviews on an as-needed, rolling basis as current fellows rotate out. Email your resume and two writing samples to info@createhere.org to get started!
