City Share

City Share is a speaker-based lunch series focused on finding creative solutions to community issues. Using open-source technologies like Skype and video chat, we’ve brought some of the nation’s leading innovators to CreateHere, starting conversations and asking big questions.

Held every two weeks between November 2009 and May 2010, City Share lunches have addressed issues of urban planning, crime and safety, education, the environment, and technology.

Following Eichenthal and Quillen’s presentation, which focused on turning results from the Stand survey into actionable projects, City Share changed its mission. Since then, the speaker series has highlighted local projects and organizations in tandem with Stand-inspired CreateHere projects.
