  3. Screenwriting Mini-Course Starts Thursday Sunday, March 21, 2010

The Chattanooga Writers Guild is partnering with the local Association for the Future of Film and Television and CreateHere on Main Street to present a mini-course on the basics of screen writing.  The workshop will take place on three Thursday nights at the offices of CreateHere 55 East Main Street, to give life to a ongoing critique group of locals interested in screenwriting.

The partnership came out of the AFFT’s recent public meeting where they asked local arts organizations how they could partner to make Chattanooga more receptive to the growth of a local film industry. The Chattanooga Writers Guild offered to partner to develop a strong screenwriting guild.

The course will be free to members of the CWG and AFFT. Those who wish to take the course will be given a choice of joining one of the two organizations. Annual dues are $25 for either group.
